Let me start out by saying, “I love this couple!” From the very beginning it was so much fun to work with the both of them. I can truly say that I consider them great friends. They are both such a refreshingly awesome couple to work with. If you got to know them like I did, you would want to hang out with them anytime! I can’t wait until we can all get together again. Jake is a former Marine, which I hold the utmost respect for. The uniforms for Marines have got to be one of the best uniforms in the military. Jake pulled it off very well and it was great to capture the details of his and Carly’s day.
The first time I met little Parker, he seemed to keep a bit of a poker face. He looked into the camera but it was with a stare more than a smile. Thankfully, I think he has gotten used to me and now loves the camera! The smiles and expressions that were so hard to come by the first time seemed to happen all the time with our last session. I can’t wait to see what comes next!
This was one of those sessions that I had to keep snapping photos even after I got what I wanted. These two would absolutely crack each other up laughing. It was great to work with the two of them and I am very excited for their wedding. I’d also like to give out a big thank you to the Canon River Winery for letting us up into its vineyard for some shooting. It was gorgeous, and hard to believe that we were a short 45 minute drive to the cities because it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere.
